PUSC est un acronyme pour Partial Use of Sub-Carriers.

Il caractérise une méthode de création des sous-canaux fréquentiels, au niveau MAC de la norme WiMAX. Chaque début de trame contient une UL-MAP et une DL-MAP qui indiquent à quel moment et sur quelle fréquence la station peut émettre (ensemble de slots élémentaires).

Ces slots sont placés dans différents sous-canaux fréquentiels, et lorsqu'on utilise une permutation PUSC, seule une partie de la bande est utilisée.

Les deux autres types de permutation utilisées sont les permutations FUSC et AMC.
