Histoire

  • Jusqua'à 1994, la société est connue sous le nom de Bally Manufacturing Corporation
  • 1994 à 1996, la société s'appelle Bally Entertainment Corporation
  • 1996 à 1998, la société fait partie du groupe Hilton.
  • 1998 à 2003, la société ne fait plus partie du groupe Hilton et s'appelle Park Place Entertainment.
  • 2004 à aujourd'hui, la société porte le nom de Caesars Entertainment

Histoire récente

Le 18 juin 2004, après avoir obtenu l'approbation de la Nevada Gaming Commission, Caesars revend l'hôtel-casino Las Vegas Hilton à Colony Capital pour 280 millions de dollars.

Le 14 juillet 2004, Harrah's Entertainment rachète Caesars Entertainment pour plus de 5 milliards de dollars. Les lois anti-trust américaines pourraient contraindre le groupe à se séparer de certaines de ses activités.
