Al-Nowaïri
Al-Nowaïri ou Ennouairi, en arabe Chehab ed-Din Ahmed ben Abd al-Wahlab al-Nowayri, (vers 1280 - 1331) fut un historien et jurisconsulte arabe du XIVe siècle.
Né à Al-Niwaireh en Égypte, il a laissé une encyclopédie historique, intitulée Nihayal al-arab fi fonoun al-adab (c'est-à-dire « tout ce qu'on peut désirer de savoir concernant les différentes branches des belles-lettres »), divisée en cinq parties, de cinq livres chacune. Aussi, il a écrit Chronique de Syrie et Histoire des Almohades d'Espagne et d'Afrique et de la conquete de la ville de Maroc.
