National Scholastic Surfing Association

Le National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) est une organisation à but non lucratif dont la mission est d'encourager et d'aider ses membres dans leur intérêt d'apprendre et de développer les principes fondamentaux et les compétences pour compétition de surf dans des compétitions structurées et événements de qualité. La NSSA favorise les qualités de discipline et d'excellence dans la compétition tout en soutenant le bien-fondé de la réussite scolaire de jeunes surfeurs. La NSSA s'efforce de fournir une expérience de plaisir à surfer pour l'ensemble de ses membres.

La NSSA est l'une des rares organisations sportives nationales de jeunesse qui exige de ses participants de maintenir des normes académiques, afin de soutenir la concurrence. D. Plus de 80 événements NSSA sont gérés à l'échelle nationale qui culmine avec le Championnat national qui est considéré comme le plus grand événement de surf de la jeunesse en Amérique.
