Synopsis

Jane, une ex-chanteuse devenue handicapée à la suite d'un accident, reçoit des nouvelles de son fils. En effet, Devon reprend contact avec sa mère car il souhaite l'inviter à sa communion. Malgré les craintes de Jane de retrouver son fils après des années et de faire face à son passé, son ami Joey arrive à la convaincre d'entreprendre ce périple à travers les États-Unis. C'est au cours de ce voyage et des rencontres qu'ils feront sur la route que Jane composera sa plus belle chanson d'amour.
