My Father, My Lord (Hofshat Kaits) est un film dramatique israélien réalisé et écrit par David Volach, sorti le 23 août 2007 en Israël.
Synopsis
Menahem est un jeune garçon de dix ans qui aimerait vivre comme tous les petits garçons de son âge. Mais il est obligé de suivre le rythme de ses parents. Son père, le Rabbi Abraham, qui le traîne pour les prières et toutes les cérémonies ayant trait à la foi, de l'école religieuse à la synagogue. Et sa mère qui n'a pas énormément la parole à la maison, habituée à subir la loi de l'homme. Menahem espère tout de même changer les choses de son quotidien.
