Musée de l'Écosse
Le musée de l'Écosse, situé à Édimbourg en Écosse, est un musée consacré à l'histoire, au peuple et à la culture de l'Écosse. Ouvert en 1998, le musée possède un style particulier. L'architecture du bâtiment mélange formes géométriques et formes inspirées de Le Corbusier, mais a également de nombreuses références à l'Écosse, telles la forme de broch et les créneaux. Le bâtiment est recouvert de grès doré de Moray, que l'architecte, Gordon Benson, a qualifié « d'objet exposé le plus ancien dans le bâtiment », une référence à la géologie écossaise. Le bâtiment a été nommé au Prix Stirling 1999.
Le musée se situe sur Chambers Street, dans le centre d'Édimbourg, a proximité du Musée royal d'Écosse, auquel il est relié. Il fait partie des musées nationaux d'Écosse et son entrée est gratuite.
