Marie Jade
Marie Jade, de son vrai nom Gabrielle Vien, est une journaliste et écrivain française, née en 1886 à Pontgibaud et décédée en 1980.
Pendant son enfance à Paris avec sa mère Elizabeth de Saint-Maure, elle côtoie le gratin intellectuel et Armand Seguin fera son portrait[1]. Veuve à l'âge de 20 ans, avec deux fils (Georges et ?), elle entreprend une carrière internationale de chanteuse lyrique sous le nom de Mary Christian. D'une liaison de 10 ans avec Marco de Gastyne, elle aura une fille Marie-Claire . Après leur séparation, elle devient journaliste, conférencière, romancière, poète sous le nom de Marie Jade.
Elle a reçu en 1970, le Prix Amic de l'Académie française pour l'ensemble de son œuvre.
