Mai Neng Moua

Mai Neng Moua (Laos, 1974–) écrivaine hmong lao-américaine établie dans le Minnesota.

Biographie

Elle est la fondatrice du magazine littéraire Paj Ntaub Voice et l'éditrice de la première anthologie des écrivains hmong américains : Bamboo Among the Oaks(Le bambou parmi les chênes).

Prédominanment poète et écrivaine des histoires véridiques, elle a publié ses textes dans les magazines Healing by Heart, Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin, Minneapolis Star Tribune et We Are the Freedom People.

Elle a une deuxième licence du St. Olaf College de Northfield, et elle a fait un master au Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs de l'University of Minnesota. Elle a été aussi coordinatrice de l'organisation non-lucrative Institute for New Americans et a donné des cours pour les jeunes hmong au Jane Addams School for Democracy.
