En astronomie, la bulle locale (Local Bubble en anglais), ou bulle locale interstellaire désigne une région de quelques centaines d'années-lumière au sein de laquelle est situé le système solaire, et qui émet un surplus de rayons X. Elle est soupçonnée être issue d'un ensemble d'explosion de supernovae il y a quelques millions d'années. Il a été proposé que le pulsar très énergétique PSR J0633+1746 (Geminga) fasse partie des progéniteurs de la Bulle locale[1].
Forme
La bulle locale a une forme évoquant un sablier. Le système solaire est situé dans un de ses deux lobes, l'autre lobe est centré au voisinage de l'étoile β Canis Majoris (Murzim).
