Lewis Wallace
Lewis « Lew » Wallace (10 avril 1827 – 15 février 1905) était un avocat, général de l'armée de l'Union lors de la Guerre de Sécession, écrivain et gouverneur du Nouveau-Mexique de 1878 à 1881. Il s'opposa au fameux bandit Billy the Kid dont il mit la tête à prix. Il est célèbre pour avoir écrit le roman Ben-Hur.
