La La La Human Steps
La La La Human Steps, fondée en 1981 par le chorégraphe Édouard Lock et par le metteur en scène Michel Lemieux, est une compagnie de danse contemporaine établie à Montréal au Québec.
Historique
De 1981 à 1998, la danseuse Louise Lecavalier a permis à cette troupe d'établir sa réputation internationale. La caractéristique de cette compagnie est l'utilisation de la technique de pointe adaptée à une danse contemporaine très physique et athlétique, qui crée le décalage intéressant. La troupe a notamment collaboré avec David Bowie en 1988 et Frank Zappa en 1992.
En 2008, la compagnie est toujours dirigée par son fondateur.
