It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) est un morceau du groupe de hard rock australien AC/DC qui est d'abord sorti sur l'album australien T.N.T. en 1976, puis ressorti sur High Voltage version internationale paru en 1976. Ce morceau est devenu un classique pour tous les fans et que Brian Johnson ne voulut jamais reprendre par respect pour son prédécesseur Bon Scott.[réf. nécessaire] Bon Scott et d'autres personnes y jouent de la cornemuse.

Le clip[1] est tourné sur un véhicule. La cornemuse de Bon et celles d'autres personnes peuvent être entendues vers le milieu de la chanson.

Anecdotes

Le solo exécuté sur It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) est obtenu par une guitare "overdriven" excitée par l'évent du caisson de basse d'une enceinte de la sono ; le timbre "bagpipe" est saisissant. Pour le clip, de véritables cornemuses ont été rajoutées.

Cette chanson a été utilisé dans la Bande Originale de Rock Academy avec Jack Black (qui a repris lui même cette chanson avec tous les enfants du film).
