Histoire

L'École Bluecoat

Édouard VI l'a créé à la suite de la fermeture des monastères catholiques par Henri VIII d'Angleterre. Il fut assisté de Nicholas Ridley, archevêque de Londres.

Musique

Constant Lambert enfant, élève du Christ's Hopital

L'école comporte un conservatoire de musique, dirigé aujourd'hui par Adrian Bawtree. Il est le successeur de Bruce Grindlay, actuellement directeur du Sutton Valence School.
