Winston Spencer Churchill (10 octobre 1940, Chequers – 2 mars 2010), est un membre du Parti conservateur britannique, et le petit-fils de Winston Churchill.
Biographie
Il étudie à Eton College puis à Christ Church.
En 1964, il épouse Minnie Caroline d'Erlanger, née en 1940 (petite-nièce du peintre et musicologue français Rodolphe d'Erlanger[1]) avec laquelle il divorce en 1997 pour épouser Luce Danielson.
Il meurt chez lui, à Belgravia, d'un cancer de la prostate en 2010.
De son premier mariage, il a quatre enfants[1] :
- Randolph Leonard Spencer Churchill (né en 1965), qui épouse Catherine Z. Lancaster, d'où : Serena (1996), Zoë (1998), Alice (2003) et John Winston (2007) ;
- Jennie Spencer Churchill (née en 1966), qui épouse James P. Repard, d'où : George (1994), Arabella (1996) ;
- Marina Spencer Churchill (née en 1967), qui épouse David W. J. Brounger, d'où : Henry (1998), William et Clementine (nées en 2003)
- John Gerard Averell Spencer alias Jack Churchill (né en 1975), qui épouse Charlotte M. Baber : Edward (2008 et Emilia (2010).
Carrière
Avant de devenir membre du parlement, Winston Churchill était journaliste. Il a notamment couvert la Guerre des Six Jours.
Il a été membre du parlement britannique de 1970 à 1997.
