Stickmen est un film néo-zélandais réalisé par Hamish Rothwell et sorti en 2001. C'est une comédie centrée sur le thème du billard qui a été entièrement tournée à Wellington, en Nouvelle-Zélande.

Synopsis

Jack, séducteur invétéré et beau parleur, Wayne, le coeur sur la main mais très gaffeur, et Thomas, un chic type un brin loser, sont les trois meilleurs amis du monde ainsi que d'excellents joueurs de billard. Ensemble, ils fréquentent le bar de Dave sans savoir que celui-ci a des dettes auprès de Daddy, un gros bonnet de la pègre. Aussi, Dave a-t-il inscrit les trois amis au tournoi de billard clandestin de Daddy, richement doté, sous le nom de Stickmen. Pour sauver le bar de Dave, la fine équipe va devoir rencontrer des équipes aussi farfelues que redoutables et cela au moment même où leurs vies privées et sentimentales commencent à se compliquer.
