Soom T

MC Soom T est une chanteuse de reggae/dub née à Glasgow dans le quartier de Maryhill où elle a passé son enfance[1],[2].

À 15 ans, elle fonde son premier groupe, Y Network. Ses chansons sont orientées politiquement, libertaires ou anarchistes[3] et prônent l'utilisation du cannabis (ganja)[4].

Soom T créé son propre label, No Step Productions, en 2009 avec Hagos. On peut lire sur le myspace du label Modèle:Cite[5]. Elle a également produit des titres chez ~scape, MG77, Root 8 Recordings, Livity Reggae, Novamute.
