Armand de Brignac

Armand de Brignac est le nom d'une marque de vin de Champagne produit par Champagne Cattier et vendu dans des bouteilles opaques en verre recouvertes d'une fine couche de métal. La première mise en bouteille de la marque, Armand de Brignac Brut Gold, est reconnaissable par sa bouteille d'aspect dorée et un sigle d'as de pique sur l'étiquette. Chaque bouteille trouve sa place dans un fourreau de velours noir brodé à la main. La marque est la propriété de Brands Sovereign en partenariat avec Cattier, et a été introduit à la fin de l'année 2006[1],[2].

Origine

Le nom "Brignac" a été choisi par la famille Cattier à la fin des années 1940 ou au début des années 1950, selon Jean-Jacques Cattier. Il a été choisi à ce moment par sa mère, qui lisait un roman mettant en vedette un personnage nommé Brignac[2].
