Animateur de radio

Un animateur de radio est une personne qui présente ou commente une émission de radio. Les commentaires peuvent être critiques, calomnieux, animés ou empreints de cordialité. Ils touchent à tous les domaines de l'activité humaine: guerre, économie, art, journalisme, etc.

Description

Il y a autant de façon d'animer une émission qu'il y a de domaines d'activité humaine et de personnalités. Par exemple, un animateur sportif aura habituellement une voix donnant un sentiment de vitalité, alors qu'un animateur d'émission scientifique parlera de façon posée.

Certains animateurs, manquant de certains traits habituellement attendus de l'auditoire, compensent par des comportements uniques. Par exemple, l'animateur d'une émission à caractère politique pourra avoir une voix rocailleuse, mais fera preuve d'un savoir encyclopédique sur les politiciens.

Parmi les animateurs de radio reconnus au Québec, mentionnons Marie-France Bazzo (Indicatif présent), René Homier-Roy (C'est bien meilleur le matin), Jeff Fillion (Radio pirate), Gilles Proulx (journalisme politique), Jacques Languirand (société, philosophie) et André Arthur.

Historique

Ce métier remonte à la création de la radio par Guglielmo Marconi. Il a vécu différentes mutations au cours des décennies, s'adaptant aux circonstances du moment. Des spécialistes sont apparus suite à ces adaptations : reporter à l'étranger (par exemple, la prise du pouvoir par les bolcheviks en Russie), correspondant de guerre (par exemple, les reportages en direct lors de la Première Guerre mondiale), comédien (par exemple, l'invasion fictive des Martiens commentée par Orson Welles) et correspondant spatial (par exemple, la retransmission des commentaires de Neil Armstrong sur la Lune en 1968).

La plus longue émission de radio au monde non-stop a été réalisée par l´animateur Imad Kotbi et a été diffusée du 29 décembre 2006 à 20h 15 jusqu'au 31 décembre 2006 à 12h 15 GMT[1].
