Spybot - Search & Destroy
Spybot - Search & Destroy (souvent abrégé Spybot-S&D) est un anti-espiogiciel (anti-spyware) pour la famille de système d’exploitation Windows de Microsoft. Comme la plupart des logiciels de ce type, il scanne le disque dur et la mémoire vive de l’ordinateur à la recherche de programme malicieux. Il dispose d’un résident.
Spybot est écrit par le programmeur allemand Patrick Michael Kolla et est distribué par l’entreprise de Kolla Safer Networking Limited. Le développement a commencé en 2000 quand Kolla, encore étudiant, écrit un petit programme pour enlever deux des premiers adwares.
Spybot - Search & Destroy est actuellement publié comme un gratuiciel. Il est disponible en 51 langues.
