On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax est le premier vrai album du groupe post-hardcore Alesana. Il a été à l'origine sorti le 6 juin 2006 par Tragic Hero Records, mais plus tard il a été réédité le 20 mars 2007 par Fearless Records.

Il comporte beaucoup de références à la mythologie grecque et au Moyen Âge. Le titre fait allusion au mythe d'Icare, dont les ailes étaient en cire.
